An introduction to the Wasatch Bitworks Site Manager, a custom platform for building fast, secure static websites that are easy to update and inexpensive to host.

When I build websites for clients, I believe updating content should be simple—not something that requires calling a developer every time you need to change a paragraph or upload a photo.
This website is powered by Wasatch Bitworks Site Manager, a custom content management system I built specifically for fast, secure static websites.
Unlike traditional CMS platforms that generate pages on every request, this site is built ahead of time and deployed as static files. The result is a website that's incredibly fast, highly secure, and inexpensive to host.
Everything on this site is managed through the Site Manager.
Current features include:
Each section demonstrates a different part of the platform and how content can be managed without editing code.
Many small businesses need more flexibility than a website builder can provide, but they don't want the complexity, maintenance, or security concerns that often come with larger CMS platforms.
This project aims to provide a middle ground:
The goal isn't to compete with every website builder on the market. It's to provide a platform that's tailored to the needs of small businesses that want a professional website without unnecessary complexity.
My philosophy: Websites should be easy to update, fast to load, and secure by design.
This blog will document the ongoing development of the Wasatch Bitworks platform. As new features are designed, built, and deployed, I'll be sharing the engineering decisions behind them, the problems they solve, and what I learn along the way.
Expect articles covering modern web development, static site architecture, custom content management, performance, SEO, and the technologies that power the sites I build for clients.
Thanks for stopping by—I hope you'll follow along as the platform continues to grow.
This blog is just one piece of the platform. Return to the home page to explore the other capabilities—from galleries and products to reviews, SEO, analytics, and more—all powered by the same Wasatch Bitworks Site Manager.
