What Can Your Website Do?
Every Wasatch Bitworks website comes with the features most businesses need built right in. When your business relies on specialized tools like online scheduling, payments, or email marketing, we connect your website with trusted services that already do those jobs well. The result is a simpler, more reliable website that's easier to maintain as your business grows.
Don't see what you need? Just ask. Every business runs on different software, and if you already use something not listed here, there's a good chance the answer is simpler than you'd expect.
What would you like your website to do?
Can I update my website myself?
Every Business and Growth site includes a private dashboard where you can update your website yourself. Add blog posts, upload photos, manage products, edit business information, and publish your changes, without touching code or calling a developer.
When you're ready, click Build Site and watch your changes go live using the same one-click publishing workflow every client site uses.
Can people book appointments?
If visitors just need to see your availability and book through a tool like Calendly, Acuity, or Square Appointments, that’s a straightforward addition to any site, usually a simple embed or a clearly placed booking link.
If you want customers creating their own accounts and managing bookings directly on your site with custom rules, that’s a bigger project of its own. We’ll help you scope the right approach instead of forcing a one-size answer.
Can I show my Google reviews?
Every Business and Growth site includes a reviews page you can curate yourself, or leave to us if you'd rather not, plus a live badge pulling your real, current Google star rating and review count.
It's one of the fastest trust signals a visitor sees, and it's included, not an upsell.
Can I publish blog posts and news?
A full blog is included with Business and Growth sites, with featured images, drafts, and a simple write/preview editor. Publish an update, a finished project, or a company announcement whenever you want.
New posts go live the next time you click Build Site, the same one-click publishing every other content type uses.
Can I create photo galleries?
With Business and Growth sites, you can upload photos into as many galleries as you need, reorder them by drag-and-drop, and set the focal point so crops always frame the right part of the image.
One gallery, four presentation styles, from a simple grid to a before-and-after slider, are shown live so you can see which fits your work.
Can people contact me?
A contact form is included with every site, so it isn’t dependent on a visitor opening their own email app or copying your address correctly.
Business and Growth sites go further: every submission is also stored in your own inbox, where you can mark it responded to or archive it, not just emailed and forgotten.
Can I see how many people visit my site?
Every Business and Growth site includes a privacy-friendly analytics dashboard: no cookie banner, no consent popup, and nothing sold to third parties.
It's the same real dashboard shown live on this demo site, and every client gets a link to their own.
Can my website show up on Google?
Every Business and Growth site ships with the technical SEO fundamentals handled: a fast, secure connection, complete meta tags, structured data search engines can read, and a working sitemap.
You can see those checks running live against this demo site, right in your browser.
Can I show a map and directions?
An embedded Google Map with directions to your business is included on every site, matched to your listed address.
On Business and Growth sites, it pairs naturally with your Google reviews and rating badge, often shown together on the same page.
Can customers pay online?
Taking a deposit or selling a handful of fixed-price items online is simple: a secure link to a Stripe payment page, with no separate database or checkout system to build.
If you're picturing a full store with a cart and many products, see “Can I sell products online?” below.
Can I build an email list?
A newsletter signup connecting to Mailchimp or a similar service is a straightforward addition, either a simple embedded form or a lightweight connection to your existing list.
We don't build our own email marketing tool. Services like Mailchimp already do that job well, and you keep the flexibility to switch providers later.
Can I sell products online?
A full store with a shopping cart, inventory, and checkout is bigger than a typical website. We usually build it on Shopify, a proven, secure platform, rather than something custom and fragile for something as important as taking payment.
A browsable product catalog without a cart, showing what you offer, is a different and already-included capability for larger sites.
Why we work this way
Every business is different, and no single platform is the best at everything. We build the parts of your website that make your business unique, then connect trusted services for specialized jobs like scheduling, payments, and email marketing. The result is a website that's easier to maintain, easier to grow, and never locked into a one-size-fits-all solution.
